Goodbye Christmas

Today the trees came down and the Christmas decorations were packed away. As I took down the Christmas cards that I had hung around the doorway I stopped to read each one again. I am very blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. Thank each of you for the beautiful cards, gifts, vintage hankies, and lovely notes. I have kept the cards and am going to make Christmas placemats later on. Christ must really have had a great birthday because the gifts of love and friendship given this year. I am sure he is happy with our gifts in his honor. The house is a little less bright without the lights from the trees, the rooms look a little empty since Christmas things are gone, but my heart is still alive with Christmas spirit and I think I have enough to carry me through till next year. Goodbye Christmas

What a sweet picture! Peggy, your decorating was lovely, our Christmas was richer than ever with our blogging friends, wasn't it. May God be praised! I am still enjoying our trees but once in awhile I get the urge to start packing it away. Its been a great celebration of Jesus birth for sure.

Peggy,
Thanks for stopping in my Tassie blog.
Love your blog! It has a wonderful feeling about it. I lived in both Calif. and Oregon so can really appreciate the westward journey made by our forefathers (and mothers).

Merry Christmas
