This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

Last year's bless the troops tree. Thought I would post that picture for Brian since he will miss seeing the trees this year. I will be away from the computer for a couple of days. Got lots of things to do and need to finish up my shopping for our family Christmas weekend. This is the last chance I have because I will be spending next week baking and cooking for our Christmas dinner, wrapping all the gifts and getting the Christmas stockings out and filled. Lots of things on my list to do before the 9th and then pack everything up. Last year it was at our home in Lexington but this year we are going to Maggie's home. She lives on top of a mountain at the end of a long gravel road in Tennessee where the deer and wild turkey walk around her yard. So everyone have a wonderful weekend, enjoy the holiday spirit, enjoy the family and don't forget to do something for yourself! See you Sunday.
