This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
Was all ready for bed when I realized I needed to feed my starter. When I feed the starter I have to remove a cup of it to make bread. So I took my cup of sourdough starter and now I have the dough rising so I can bake 2 loaves of sourdough bread in the morning. Wanna come over for fresh bread for breakfast?
I just picked up my airline ticket...will you fix me a cup of tea too? I think that just thinking about how good it would taste, would fit into my new way of eating....well not really new way, just a controlled way....lol

I'm on my way, even though I rarely eat bread now, I'm sure freshly homebaked would tempt me. What will you spread on it?
Yes, I would! Your bread pics are interesting with the promise of yummy!
I love sour dough bread, but have never been brave enough to make it...hhmmmm, the smell!
