Ms. Diva
Meet Ms. Diva. I will be going to meet her in person this week and if she and I like each other she will be coming to the homestead to live next week. I would bring her home this week but until my sprain heals I cannot milk her. I am so excited to finally get a milking goat and one that is so pretty and sweet natured to boot. Her owner has a goat farm about 3 hours from here and when she decides to keep one of the newborn she sells off one of her seniors. Diva is a senior but not old and is a great milk goat. So now we will have fresh goatsmilk and I will be making my soaps with fresh goatsmilk and will be learning how to make goat cheese.... Life on the homestead is getting to be the best!

You have a goat called Ms Diva? How did you come up with the name?
Ms. Diva is her registered name given her at birth. I didn't have a thing to do with it but I like it! LOL
How wonderful!! One day, I want to get a farm with sheep so I can sheer them and make yarn and blankets. My life-long dream. Good for you!!
What a beauty she is!! Hope it works out.
I'm envious Peggy! I've wanted a milking goat for ages but at this point I think Keith would "do me in" if he had another animal to take care of. (And with two little ones I can't be outside as much as I would like...Drew gets ear infections at the drop of a hat!) So, you'll just have to tell us all about your Miss Diva and I'll sit and drool! Blessings, Sher
I love goats!!!!!! I had one when we lived in our other home. She was an angora and her name was Rosie.Lucky you Peggy. making that soap sounds so much fun. I wannna come and help :(
What a sweet little goat~we had some neighbors down the street that owned several,I think they are so sweet. Lucky you to be able to make your own soap~and I love goat cheese!
