Davie Is Home!
We finally got Davie home! We traveled over 3 hours to Dobson which is near Mt. Airy to pick him up. He is so tiny!! He is 2 months old but the heat has really bothered him. I let him sit in my lap most of the way home so he could enjoy the air condition. We stopped and let him stretch his legs and have a nice cold drink and I put him in the back of the truck on a bed of straw. We have a camper shell over the back and rolled the windows out so he could get air. He slept most of the rest of the way back. We let him walk around the yard and brought Miss Diva out to meet him. She sniffed him and then walked away to eat grass. She is a little jealous of him when we are petting him but she just bumps you so you will pet her. They are both back in the pen and seem to be doing fine. Davie ate well and went to potty good so think he will do just fine. He checked the place out and even licked the mineral block. We will see how he does tonight. But I am so in love with the little fellow and will be fattening him up like I did Miss Diva.

So glad to see that Davie in now in your care. HOpefully Miss Diva will get over being Jealous..after all she has always been the center of attention. She will have to learn to share that attention now. He is sure cute. Sandy
Aw, congratulations on your new arrival. He is soooo cute! I can see why Miss Diva would be a tad jealous. Awwww. Best wishes for the new "family." xoxox
ohh..look at him...
he is so cute. hope he doesnt cause you too much trouble
Davie could not be in a better place than he is right now, Peggy. What a sweetheart! but ms*diva is still my favourite (can you whisper that in her ear?) - with Davie coming a close second of course.
I want a baby goat.
He's a doll!
How cute! My brother had a billy goat for a while and every time I went over he would bump me with his horns wanting attention. At least he didn't hit to hard.
What a handsome little fellow! What a wonderful addition to the family!
Mt. Airy is where my Dad came from and I still have family near there.
Love to you darling one!
Blessings
Glad your little fellow is home!
