Happy Birthday Mary!

Mary is celebrating her birthday so please stop by Fireflies and Frogs and wish her a happy one. I don't know of any other person that deserves a very special day as much as Mary.

Mary is one of the most kindest, caring, sweetest, talented ladies I know. She will be the first one to offer help, advice or just a listening ear. You can always count on Mary to be there for you.
I wish I could give you a dishwasher, a maid, a nannie, a vacation for just you but I just couldn't swing it.

What I did do was find a birthday poem that seemed like it was written just for you.

Birthday Blessings
Instead of counting candles,

Or tallying the years,

Contemplate your blessings,

As your birthday nears.
Consider special people

Who love you, and who care,

And others who’ve enriched your life

Just by being there.
Think about the memories

Passing years can never mar,

Experiences great and small

That have made you who you are.
Another year is a happy gift,

So cut your cake, and say,

"Instead of counting birthdays,

I count blessings every day!"

May your birthday be as special as you are!

What a nice post for your friend's birthday. I bet she loves you back just as much.

I love the stories you make up about your ducks and chickens and such. It's so real. Now that Miss Duck needs to mind her manners and grow up a bit! Thank goodness for Wilma and Betty, who obviously have sensible heads.
