This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

Bathroom
Slowly the bathroom is starting to come together. Tonight I was able to hang the wallpaper and border. The wallpaper only goes a quarter of the way down the wall. The rest will be beadboard. Tomorrow morning the dropped ceiling, beadboard and chair rail go up and hopefully the light fixtures. We are hoping all will be done by Saturday night but we shall see.
I was walking by Bud's house and noticed he had fell asleep while eating his supper. It's after midnight and he is still sleeping with his face in his food dish. What a nice lazy life he is having. Time for me to turn in before I fall asleep with my face on the keyboard. Have a good night!

Happy Friday!
Weekend, weekend, cha cha cha!
Oh my gosh, Diva is sooooo precious! She wants to come in the house too cuz she loves you. I have the same problem with my Macaw. She is EVERYWHERE I am, and I have to go outside to escape her. She sits on the back of my chair and "preens" my hair. TeeeHeee Animals are so wonderful.
Lol I remember my youngest son Corey falling asleep with his head in his plate of spaghetti when he was about 2 years old! I just LOVE the wallpaper and border you chose for your bathroom...it's something like I would have chosen:-) Can't wait to see the bathroom all finished...I bet you can't wait either! lol
Your bathroom is going to be darling. I can't wait to see the finished product.
Bud's picture reminds me of that verse in the Bible about the sluggard. Prov 26:15 The sluggard buries his hand in the dish; He is weary of bringing it to his mouth again.
Hi Peggy! I hope you get your bathroom done as scheduled but I've learned that "something" will always come up....at least around here. Bud looks almost like a stuffed iguana in that photo. Has he forgiven you yet for bringing him indoors? :) We have a chicken who thinks she belongs in the house. Every time we open the door Miss Scarlett hops right in and makes herself at home. Maybe she gets lonely for human company like Miss Diva and Groucho. Love that name, by the way. It's perfect!
I love your wallpaper choice and Bud is just too cute.
The bathroom is starting to take shape! It looks good.
I love your wallpaper. Your bathroom is gonna be real pretty. I am looking forward to a picture when it is completed. Hopefully Monday! Will have my phingers crossed for ya. Take care my friend.
God Bless!
