Happy New Year

New Year's Day. A fresh start. A new chapter in our life waiting to be written. New days waiting to be embraced and loved. New things to be discovered. Take the leap and accept the challenge of this wondrous new year. Start each day with faith. Faith in yourself and faith in the future. Believe in yourself and believe in your dreams. Make this a year where your dreams come true!

Yes, Peggy...start a new year, a chance to begin again!! It definitely has to be better than the end of 2006 for us. My dad is now in the hospital in Arizona. He is doing much better. He is 88 and just made it there. He has pneumonia. We were mourning losing LUCY and then Dad went to the hospital so now we start all over again..hopefully..Have a great day.

A very Happy and Blessed New Year to you and your loved ones, Peggy! We're having a chill day here in southern NH. Got some snow on Saturday, then today it's gloomy skies and freezing rain. Two of the guineas refuse to stay in the coop so I'm hoping they don't get frostbite. It's a good day to curl up indoors with a hot cup of tea and a kitty on your lap!

Thanks for your encouraging words, Peggy. I admire your busy life and buoyant attitude. I wish you all the best in the New Year.

I started the year on a "Oh! I have hurt myself note!!!" I caught a hook under my eyelid and largely ripped it off. There are definite disadvantaged to living alone off the beaten track. It is now sewn back together although I look like I had a dust up in the street with someone. So out of character for me.

In a day or two I may join you in you cheerful look for the future.
