Happy Birthday Melody

31 years ago today I gave birth to a beautiful 10 and a half pound baby girl. She had a head full of black curly hair and besides being the biggest baby in the nursery she was the only girl in with 6 little boys. It was that way growing up too. She always had more guy friends than girls. I am very proud of Melody Ruth. She is a very tender hearted person. A wonderful wife, mom to 5 great kids, worked 9 years as a family advocate and a loving daughter. She is the peacemaker in the family. Whenever anyone is upset or not getting along with another family member she is working hard at making everyone happy. She is active in her church, community, and always has time for anyone that needs her. Melody always has a smile on her face and the cutest dimples. When she was born her 5 yr old sister wanted to give her away but now her sister would fight anyone that tried to do or say anything that hurt her. Melody, thank you for being who you are no matter what life throws at you. Thank you for being there for me when I needed a shoulder, a hug, someone to talk to, or someone to just listen. You my precious daughter have grown into a beautiful young woman that I am proud to say is my daughter.
