Don't Drink the Water

There seems to be a over abundance of babies around Hidden Haven. I am starting to feel like the old lady that lived in the shoe that had so many children she didn't know what to do.

Those are Flower's newest baby bunnies. Dotty had 2 babies today. One solid black bunny and one white with black spots. I have 3 hens sitting on every egg they can get to. I have to fight to get the fresh eggs from under them and make sure the hatching eggs still have a good pencil mark on them so I can see it. The baby goats, the 3 baby goslings along with the 4 toddler chicks Killer is watching over we have an overload of babies. Think I will bottle and sell the water... what do you think? LOL

I don't want any of your water thanks! but then again - you and I don't have the 'equipment' do we?? fellow hystersister !
I guess it is spring over there and that is when it all happens - I love spring time at the zoo - we have a big zoo in Sydney and every year when the babies are born we get to see it on the news.

I don't think anyone could do such a great job with all those babies as you do...Don't let that water get into the wrong hands.lol I think you should write a book!!!

Have a wonderful day.

Connie

On the summer or Litha Scavenger hunt I decided to do a minor change on # 7 it now reads “A frame picture taken from you’re home areas looking toward the south.” But it I’m changing it to “ A frame picture taken close from your home area looking toward the south” so nice picture of southerly direction from your area.

Doing some catch-up reading today. So sorry to learn that Bud has made his escape into the NC countryside, but, I see that you have a flourishing family of animal friends even so. It's so good to read about your experiences and see pictures of your homestead. I echo Connie in saying that you should write a book.....you have the talent!

Hey Peggy!...I'm back in business! Looks like you are super busy. I am too...my kids are so big now that they can push me around. And I'm expecting another crop at the end of this month. Betty Goat may be dropping sooner than the rest since she had a preemie. So she could go anywhere between the 20th and the 1st. I'm hoping she hangs onto this one since we lost that first doe she had. And it was really a beauty.
