I have spent most of the day inside. I went out at quarter till 5 this morning so I could get enough milk to make cheese to fill the orders I have. Dan and Robyn weren't very happy but they got plenty of milk the rest of the day. I made sure everyone had fresh cold water several times today since it was super hot and humid. Vicki called and I picked up a prescription for her and mailed out some bills. We have put off getting cable or satellite since we are remodeling and not sure where we will be placing the tv's. Well our phone company offered us such a great deal with adding satellite our bill is going to be $5.00 less each month. So I took the package and today I let the guy hook up 2 of the 4 rooms we are getting. The other 2 are still in the box until the rooms are ready. And I have spent the afternoon doing paperwork and catching up on HGTV. We get all the major networks with just rabbit ears so I haven't not been watching tv just not watching very much. Now I am going to have to make myself keep the tv off till evening time or I will never get anything done. I do so love watching home improvement and gardening shows. Momma Kitty had to bring her baby out for the satellite guy to see. She has had baby kitty all around the house today but now that its dark she is right with me. If I go in the kitchen she carries baby kitty and goes in there. If I am sitting at the computer she has baby kitty and is sitting in my lap. When I sit on the sofa momma and baby kitty are in my lap. I truly think momma kitty is afraid of the dark! When the guy called he asked if I had dogs and I told him they were in the pen and were very friendly but the geese were out. He just laughed till he arrived. The geese spread their wings, start honking like crazy and running at whoever pulls up. Once you get out of your car they go away, they just like being show-offs. The poor guy thought he had arrived at a zoo with all the animals around here! Everyone have a wonderful weekend and enjoy all your blessings!

My geese are a scary trip, too! I just wish they wouldn't attack me when my back is turned. And they terrorize the goats. Sheep don't seem to take much BS from them though. Those sheep a tough guys. And they are really fat!

It would be a little intimidating to have geese flapping their wings if you weren't used to it. Your momma kitty stories just make me smile.

Sounds like you got a lot accomplished yesterday even though you spent most of the day in the house! I spent most of the day in the house too with my air conditioner on...did housework and filing in comfort! lol Too funny about the geese...I would think twice about getting out of the car too if I saw them comin'! lol xoxo

Four 25 years, I only relied on my rabbit ears. Mercifully, I could not get any American channels.

Perhaps, you can now view some Canadian TV where police dramas are not full of violence, shows where muslims are not assumed to be terrorists and news shows where news readers don't try to make the news as well as report it.

There are cultural differences between us.

I love the history channnel and the BBC now that I have satellite TV.

Sit with your feet in cold water and keep cool.

I too love your mamma cat stories. I am a cat lover and she sounds so sweet with you and her kitten. I would definitely be afraid of those geese. They kind of scare me anyway!! Have a great weekend. Sandy

Peggy,
Loved the part about your geese. When we lived in KS, we had two geese. Every time I went outside, they would start talking! They were so fun. Our neighbors didn't mind because they were 1/4 mile away!! Not the case here in WA. Thanks for sharing about the animals.
