This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

Love to see pics of your cosy home.
We find the idea of decorating for the seasons a new one! I like to see how you all do it.
What a beautiful country house!!! Should be in a magazine!
Your house looks wonderful. I love fall decorations. Maybe I will get inspired to do some decorating myself.

Looks great to me!
Your autumn touches look so warm and inviting. Thanks for sharing with us.
I know that you love autumn or fall as you call it :) - and it shows in your decorations, the kitties must love it,snuggling there.. such a nice place for a nap.. can the boys get onto the verandah? They would have a fun time nibbling on the pumpkins and trees
Peggy your house looks so nice. We must have the same decorating taste. Over the past few months I've been adding to my "primitive lifestlye" theme and I'm loving it so much.
I have a large basket of cinnamon rosehips on my table and my whole house smells SO good now.
My son made me a rustic ladder that I propped up next to my tv hutch and draped some grubby candles from it. I think I should take pics and post them to my blog. LOL
Anyway, I'm off to order some more grape berry soaps because my kitchen area smells of grape goodness every time I go in there. Alas I have almost used up all of the one bar I got from you so- MUST get more. :)
Have a great Tuesday! Kristie
How very lovely indeed.
Love you
Jeanne
Your front entrances is very pretty. I love the star especially. I love Fall and love fall stuff!
It's beautiful and very inviting!!
Everything looks very nice. I notice your Aussie mate calls your front stoop a verandah, too. Whatever you call it; it is very inviting.
Are you jumping the season. You look ready for the Canadian Thanksgiving "A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed ... to be observed on the 2nd Monday in October."

My fondest memories of Thanksgiving will always be those celebrated with American Friends in New England. I still read every year the account of the Pilgrim and Indian Thanksgiving in Bradford's Journal, it is filled with layers of meaning.
Everything looks so festive. Gee, it's still so hot up here, I can't get in the mood. Perhaps soon the weather will break! Let's hope!! xo
Your house is beautiful. You have quite the touch. Thanks for sharing.
