Philip has tagged me for a meme. I am suppose to list 8 random things about myself.

1. I get overwhelmed a lot but am blessed to have a husband I can vent with. He gives me suggestions and helps me work things out.

2. I love to read and use to read every night and spare minute. Lately I just listen to books on tapes while I do chores, etc.

3. I am a loner. I don't like shopping trips and lunches. I prefer being here with the animals.

4. I would love to go on survivor. I wouldn't last very long as I would be bossy with the lazy ones and get voted off. I don't understand how anyone would go on survivor not knowing how to build a shelter or a fire or what plants are edible.

5. I use to be a speed demon. Always in a rush driving but now I am one of those little old ladies on the road. The only difference is I can see over the steering wheel and my hair isn't blue.

6. I tend to sting with my words. Someone wants a pity party but hasn't done anything to help themselves gets stung by me. Lazy but complaining...sting. Well, you get my drift. I am too fast with words when I should just bite my tongue.

7. I love riding roller coasters but they terrify me. I am hoping William will ride one with me someday.

8. I have started reading more frugal articles and want to see how inexpensive William and I can live and how much we can save. There is more work involved but its more rewarding.

I am suppose to tag 8 others but I am not sure who has or hasn't been tagged. Feel free to count yourself tagged and let me know so I can read your random things.

Dena has honored me with a award! Thank you so much Dena. I love visiting your blog and you make me smile too.

It was so nice to learn more about you. I am a bit of a loner myself...a homebody. So opposite from when I was young and restless and couldn't sit still for a minute.

Have a fabulous week. I know you must miss the grandkids!

You sound just like me as Iam a loner too. I love my home and like to fix it up with used things. We call our home"early junk and late relative". Iam not one to go clubbing or go for coffee at some ones house but I do like to talk on the phone to some of my friends. I personally know some women who cannot stand to stay home, day or night, I feel so sorry for them. Have a good day!!!

I see you got two of your grandchildren from "up the the holler", which you don't like to talk about, stuffed and mounted to guard your steps for Halloween!

I would love to be on Survivor too! I couldn't ever because of the sun thing, but I always thought it would be really fun. I'd get voted off early too. It kills me what incredibly inept fishermen they always are! They are always on the water and none of them ever seem to know how to crab or fish.

Your porch looks very nice! Inviting, I guess describes it best.

I enjoyed this meme. I'd never last on Survivor. You are right. The lazy ones would have to go!

I want a porch so badly. They look so homey and comfortable.

I wouldn't survive on Survivor because I just can't be mean enough to anyone.

Great meme. I remember when I was younger always being in a hurry. Now I am like you and just take my time. Certainly less tickets will be the result.lol

Take care,
Connie

Hiya sis:-) Loved learning more about you...hmmmm I didn't know you were a drill sergeant...poor lazy people! LOL I'm very much like you, though, have no patience with people who can't help themselves and are lazy. It's funny you should mention that you've started listening to books on tape...I was thinking of starting that since I just don't seem to find time to read! Congratulations on the Smiling Award...you certainly do make me smile every time I come over for a visit:-) xoxo
