Rained Out Christmas Caroling

We have not had rain in forever. We have been going through the biggest drought in history. The weather all week has been in the 80's. We get ready for our hayride/caroling event and it starts to rain and is freezing cold. William and the guys rig a tarp over the trailer. Megan puts hay and blankets in and we all figure out where we will sit. Off we go in the drizzling rain singing our hearts out. We get to the first neighborhood and it starts pouring the rain. We make the round to all the houses, call it a night and head back home. We sing all the way back but our annual caroling hayride was a washout.
