Quiet Sunday

Still no babies from Sammi. I got tired of going out to check on her and had William to hook up the baby monitor. Not only do we get to listen to her grunt but the monitor picks up the roosters crowing and every other animal close to Sammi and Diva. Fran had a rough night last night so we spent most of the morning with her. I am afraid she is wanting to give up. She loved the Valentines cards from everyone and has them sitting on the table by her bed. I am making another book for her cards as the first one is already full! She loves for you to turn the pages of the book so she can see the cards. She still can't believe everyone took time to send her cards and write such sweet notes. We are getting ready to put her to bed. She hurts when you bend her knees or move her arms and its impossible not to when moving her from bed to chair or vice versa. I had to promise not to exercise her legs if she would eat. She doesn't want to eat so its a chore finding something she will eat or making a bargain to get her to eat. Haven't had the camera out today but will take pictures of something tomorrow if there are no babies. I am setting up a shopping blog called Hidden Haven Treasures. Have a few things listed but haven't had the time to unpack the vintage items I want to sell. Hopefully I can do that this week. Time seems to slip away from me. Have a blessed week and pray Hidden Haven has a blessed one too please.

Peggy! I think that is a great idea about the "Treasures" blog. I popped over and looked around and looks like you're off to a great start. I can't wait to see what else you list. I'll be checking back regularly. :)

So sorry to hear about Fran. I guess I just try to think of it not as giving up, but that she is ready for her new start in a body that doesn't hurt or fail her. That takes a lot of courage. None of us like hearing about people giving up, but only she knows if it's really her time. Peace be with you all. Sending prayers and hugs.

Tapping foot impatiently here!!!! lol I guess Sammi IS going to stay pregnant forever! Sheesh! I feel terrible, I never sent Fran a Valentine card...with being so sick with the flu that week, I never even thought of it:-( I can imagine how hard it is to keep her spirits up when she feels like giving up. She's very lucky to have you around, sis!! I've just "updated" the update I did on Steve this evening...he had his surgery today! Yeahhhhh! Thank you for your prayers, it really means a lot to me. xoxo

I am so sorry to read that your lovely neighbour Fran is finding living so hard. She may very well want to give up. What will she has is thanks to your loving care and the kindness so many have shown her.

Your Sammi must be a big worry. I trust you are convinced still has a viable pregnancy. Labour was so long and now such a long pause. I hope all works out.

Oh dear. Those poor mothers to be. And poor you. Oh, I am so sorry to hear about Fran. When my mom was losing so much weight from not eating, I would give her anything she wanted--sweets, junk, anything. The doctor said it was better than nothing. Please know she (and you, always) are in my prayers. xoxo

I too will pray for Fran as she finds living more difficult these days. How sweet you are to give so much of your precious time to help her.
Hope Sammi is OK and the kids arrive very soon - then perhaps you can get some rest Peggy!

I have a giveaway for my first year blog anniversary - do stop by and enter!

Sammi is gonna just keep these babies I think. I bet it was sweet to listen to Gods creation. I wish I could just be there to share in one birth. I love your blog!

i hate to hear about Ms. Fran!! Sometimes when it just gets too much i can understand wanting to give up. I am so happy that she enjoyed her valentines.
