Poor BossyToes. She has spent the morning getting bit by the electric fence so she can get away from the goats and back with humans. She doesn't understand why I make her live with goats. I should know she was raised in a house like every other child. Right now she is in the pen with the baby goats. There is no way to get out of that fence and she isn't happy. I have insulted her so she is going to pout and try to break me with her big sad eyes. I do let her out with me when I am working outside and have even let her come inside when I have to come in for something. The problem with that is she thinks she should sit on the sofa and watch TV. She will be having a baby/babies in July so really really needs to get use to being a goat and doing goat things. Think I had better go have a talk with her...

That little face is one I wouldn't be able to resist either. I hope she turns out to be a good mother. She has beautiful coloring.

I know of what you speak,
Mine just grunts rather than bleats,
If they were together they would share a divan,
To watch some TV from Disneyland.

Oh my goodness, I love this post. I thought it was just our goat that thought he was supposed to be living inside with us. When my daughter was 2 (17 now) we would get up and there she would be on the couch watching cartoons with Frankie sitting right there beside her.He would escape from his pen and beat on all the windows begging to come back in. We finally got him his own couch and it helped a bit. Thanks for the smiles, debi

You are my new favorite blog. I love it here. We are planning to get a few pygmy goats as soon as my husband gets rid of the 20+ ducks he has. We haven't had goats for years and we want the grandkids to have the fun of these sweet animals. I miss hearing them call me as I came out to hang laundry. I am looking forward to reading all of your posts. I have more sewing to do so maybe tonight. Nice to meet you, deb

Poor little Bossy Toes. Perhaps when she has her own babies, she will just want to stay with them.

Awww..... she's beautiful , her coloring is wonderful. When I was a kid , my Dad brought home an old billy goat , he thought he was suppose to live in the house too. He was very sweet , but so aggravating , he would knock you down to get in the house. We didn't have him to long , my Dad got rid of him.

Maybe she'll change once she has kids.

Now you have me wondering what her favourite tv show is! lol Goodness, that is too funny...I remember having a dog that thought he was human:-) I would have to walk by her while covering my eyes because one look at her soulful eyes and I'd break down. lol Love ya sis! xoxo

Happy Birthday, Peggy! I'm sorry I missed it being all wrapped up in my latest trauma. The new goats are adorable little scamps and you'll find they will outstrip Bossy's inventiveness on escaping.

It's good to see Bossy is living up to her reputation. I'm afraid Rose is bred and about to drop a kid any day.
