Come On In The Kitchen

Its a rainy dreary day to be outside but a perfect day to see what we can cook up! Annie over at Real Life Living shared a yummy recipe that I just had to try. All I can say is there is no way you can eat just one! They were perfect for breakfast plus I froze some for William and have some to give our hired hand.
After saving the cream off the top of the goat milk for several days I finally had enough to make butter. My stepson and daughter in law gave me a antique butter churn for Christmas and I used it for the first time today. Works great! I did add a little yellow food coloring to the butter so it wouldn't be so white.
I had some leftover ground turkey, onions from the garden and lots of cheese so thought I would make a pizza. There are several dough recipes I use but today I used this one. I will have pizza for supper tonight with a nice salad with fresh veggies from the garden.
I will freeze a couple slices for William and give the hired hand a couple slices. And since the oven was still hot and I had a can of pumpkin I made pumpkin bread! Made single loaves with some being heavy spiced and some lightly spiced. Yes William, I am freezing some for you!
Have a fresh pitcher of ice tea in the fridge or you can have a nice tall glass of ice cold goats milk. Have a seat and help yourself!

It all looks yummy. If I lived near by I would find an excuse to drop by for cofee and some goodies.

Glad you liked the recipe. Please let me know how they turn out when you heat the frozen ones. I was going to try freezing some the other day, but there weren't any left to freeze. LOL!

Holy moly! Everything in this post looks so good!! Pumpkin (and zuchinni) bread are among my favorites. I can only imagine right now what that butter might taste like on top of that pumpkin bread! Sounds like you had a terrific day! (And well fed, too.)

Sounds good and looks even better!! I bet you are a good cook. I used to like to bake but not much anymore.
You have rain!! I wish that we would get some as we really need it bad here. Always do I think!

Oh YUMMY!! I have made the pinwheels before and they are great!

You have done a fine job of making me hungry!!

I have never drank goat's milk before, so I'll pass on that! I'm not much of a milk drinker anyway.

It started out wet here too so I made soup - then it dried up and the sun was out so I spent a few hours working in the garden.

This evening took granddaughter to the outdoor beach music concert, and would you believe the heavens opened and rain poured down - the musicians gave up, we did too, and went for a bite to eat instead!

Loved your last post too - full of baby love!!
