Catching Up

Jeanette gave me this award several days ago. Thank you so much Jeanette! Sorry I am late picking it up.

Here is what the award is about:This award is "dedicated to many who nourish and enrich the spirit and creativity. They see dedication, creativity, camaraderie, joy and above all, ART, much art. I wish that this prize is entertaining to all those bloggers and to bloggers who day by day share this space and enrich it a little more each day. Not sure I have much talent in way of ART but I am very blessed to have a blog friend and neighbor in Jeanette.

Ponygirl has ask that we show where we blog from. I have a antique secretary that my keyboard, monitor, and mouse sit on. I use to keep the keyboard inside the desk but got lazy about raising the lid and just moved it to the top. I have a small bulletin board that holds special things sent to me by blog friends. And also a photo of William next to his tanker. I have a vintage tin photo (have no ideal who it is) that I picked up at a sale several years ago. Next to it is a thimble my Aunt Judy gave me. It has a very very special meaning behind it regarding my Mother. Sitting next to that is a candle holder given to me by SweetPea (my adopted sis) and next to that is a box with a glass guardian angel given to me by Wendy a friend in Australia. I have a glass that holds pens, pencils, etc and beside it is a little green pencil sharpener with drawings on it. My grandson Justin gave it to me. The computer is in the living room and so is my desk I do the bookkeeping on.(the one Whiskers sleeps on). So now you know where I am when I am blogging or catching up on your blogs.

Juli ask if I would post pictures of my bathtub water garden. I had to clean it first so that stirred up the dirt from the plants. The pictures will show the dirty water which I hope will be clear tomorrow. My water lily hasn't come up yet but the goldfish survived the winter. I had to clean the pump so I could turn on the turtle fountain. Will have to get out and do some more cleaning up around the area and put down more rock. Hope you like juli!

And just because I want to I am including pictures of Princess Diva. I had her out of the pen giving her some meds and thought I would let her be her Diva self for a few minutes. Now that I am caught up in blog world I had best get outside and get caught up on chores. Have a great day everyone!

I just loved seeing where you sit when you're blogging...brought a smile to my face seeing the candle I had sent you:-) You mentioned the thimble given to you by your aunt...will you tell us the story behind it?? You said it had special meaning regarding your mother:-)

A bathtub water garden...how neat is that??? I've always wanted a pond in my backyard...now maybe I'll just wait until we redo our bathroom one day and use the old bathtub! lol

Love the pictures of Diva...what a darling jean skirt she's wearing! hehe xoxo

A bathtub water garden! I'm sure that would work pretty well! I love water gardens.

Nice seeing your computer area. It's far neater than mine!!

It is nice to see Diva there, all dressed up!
My mother had an old bathtub taken out, & new one put in. She left the old on on the lawn, beside her house, wondering what to do with it. One day she came home from work to find it gone- someone had stolen it!! She laughed, & said she hoped it had gone to a 'good home'! Perhaps it is a pond now, somewhere in Auckland.

I love the bath tub garden you have. Great way to use things instead of dumping in the landfil. Beautiful!

I have considered a milk goat for some time. A Nubian to be exact :) but I have never liked goats milk and I'm not sure I could ever get used to it. I try to find some locally tho and see if I can before I decide.

Around here everyone has those little brownhead goats, I think they just eat them, poor things.

I also remember reading that there's a particular goat that loves poison ivy, whether we get a Dexter or Nubian maybe we could get one of those as her companion and ivy eater :)

I just wrote a long reply about milk goats and cows and it's gone *o*

ah well, I was just saying that i have considered a milk goat. A Nubian instead of a Dexter :)
