This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
I'm going to be getting me some of that fancy wash stuff from Lehman's soon - can't wait! You seriously make the washing look fun in these pics! Well, fun for a few minutes, anyway. Love the new music! Just my sort of thing.
My kingdom for a wringer ! :) I used to use my grandmothers but never have gotten one of my own. One of these days tho. I need to get a table bult to hold my tubs. The one i use is falling a part.
As for a visit, you will always be welcome here and I have no doubt that one day we will sit and chat :)
Wish I could hang out my clothes here, but we live in the arid southwest. My clothes dry in less than an hour, usually less, and then they turn crispy and stiff.

Have a gear wk.

I love wringer washers. Wash day is a chore that beats the heck out of Butt Detail!!!
When you drive through our country side around here you can tell which farms are the Amish ones... Just look for wash hanging on the lines on Monday.
wow that like my monday wash dry fold repeat
Your ecologically sound washing practices are an inspiration. Finally, some communities are fighting back for the right to hang out laundry.
We are not allowed clotheslines here..stupid anyway!! I LOVE my sheets hung outside!! Sandy

I love the washer you've got there, though.
And fresh linen smell night! Nothing better!
