This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
Dorthy finally hatched some of her eggs. Don't dare tell her that one is a duckling and one is a bantam. She will attack you! They are her babies and they aren't different.
I'm standing by Dorthy and her babies! They are NOT different! And I won't tell here that they have to be kept in a cage either, LOL. Good thoughts for the duckadoodle and chicks!
I just wanted to say how much I love the layout of your blog..I also like your blog.........but I really, really like the whole look of it.....I really do!!!!!

Oh, I raised a sweet nubian, Becky, when I was a teen. She was my 4-H goat. Your pictures took me back. I love the snap of the babies in the wheelbarrow bucket. I will visit again! Hugs, Patti
How cute!!! I think like Cathy above...wait til one wants to go in the water! Wonder what Dorothy will do then? I used to raise chickens when I was a kid, and have always loved little peeps!!!
Hi Peggy, was thinking the same thing as above comment how is mother hen going to stop the little duckling from the water..Im King of the castle just gorgeous...

LOL and the lunch bunch in the bottom picutre is so cute.... THanks for stopping over again - I love to read the comments you gals leave for me!
The goats are so cute. The boys and I really miss seeing them at the farm. I was hoping they had more animals by now, but they've encountered some difficulties.
