This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
What a breath of fresh air your profile is and reading your likes of books and films you could be me!LOL Brought up on poor circumstances in Wales by a victorian grand mother I can associate with the washing by hand and wringer! We had two tubs in the back yard in one the washing was agitated with a copper dolly and the other it was rinsed! It took all day! We even did it in the rain! Hard times, but reading your blog brought back happy memories of my youth Loved the goats Chris

I am glad to see the goats treat their char woman well by dressing up and entertaining her.
You know I am not a fan of dressing animals up, but, my Heidi is in heat and leaving bloody spatter whereever she goes. I have been tempted to put her in a diaper. I resist. Instead I have old rugs on all her napping spots.
Also, my Belgium blogging friend, "Gattina" says Heidi sits elegantly like the "Queen", (she likes to poke fun at the Royals). I have been tempted to get Heidi a tiara. I continue to resist!
Oh my gosh I love the goats!!! I'll have some 'someday'!! Nice blog, btw, and just wanted let you know that you've been BOO-ED! Stop by my blog and pick up your boo-tiful picture!!!

All the girls are very pretty:) The last one looks happy to be wearing a hat. I think thats Diva?
Too cute, Nubians sure are quite characters, LOL, I know since we have a couple Nubian girls here that mean business when it comes to food!
They are so pretty. Doesn't Diva think she is all that.
that is so funny..........and you think they weren't amused by all this? Let them know I was.
