This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
My feathered friends are worried because Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I'm not.
Everybody knows you don't eat weather turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner. Right? I mean who would want to eat a handsome turkey like me. I better try to lose some weight in a hurry.
Hi Peggy, Tell Fred not to worry. There is no way that you would put him on your table. He is too important and besides he is the official weatherman for your area. He looks really cool behind that fence and he knows it. LOL
Hi peggy, Guess what? Laurie and I are starting a blog. As soon as it is presentable I will let you know so you can see it. Hope to see you Friday at the school thing. I loved your pictures and I don't think that Turkes is in any danger. Have a good weekend. Annabel

He needs to carry a sign that says "EAT HAM"! lol Happy Halloween sis!!! Love ya. xoxo
What a beautiful bird, I wouldn't eat him either:)
Awwww if I were to raise these pretty babies I don't think I could eat one.
Now I will never look at another turkey leg in the supermarket again without thinking about this "family barn yard member" of yours.
Hope your Halloween was full of chills down the spine and dark night. ;)

And besides, sliced deli turkey would be so much less trouble!
I Can't believe Thanksgiving is so close. I love this time of year.
Poor Baby!! Turkey Prozac is needed.
Don't worry, I'm sure Mommy loves you way to much for that!
BTW, my birthday goodies arrived yesterday. Thank you so much, Peggy. The only problem is I can't decide which one to use first :-)
