Has Anyone Seen My Fall Weather?

Today was a record breaking 80F! Nights aren't any better as they are in the upper 50's. I am so longing for nice cold crisp days and very cold nights. I want to enjoy sitting by a nice warm fire with a nice hot cup of tea. We have had the doors and windows open and worked outside all day. Both of us are having back pains. We are just too old to try to do so much. We sound like we are ready for a retirement home when we sit down in the evening and take our shoes off. Oh the moans and groans along with bones popping and cracking. We cooked dinner together tonight. William grilled steaks while I baked potatoes, made a salad and garlic bread. Now that our tummies are full he is crashed out on the sofa. He wants me to think he is looking at his lap top that is perched on his tummy. I know he is sound asleep though. LOL I am going to take a shower and catch up on some news, do some (little) paperwork and then call it a night. Tomorrow is another busy day. We are so blessed we are able to get things done around here. We are blessed we are able to get up and down even if we do complain. We are very blessed we have chores to do. Hope you have a blessed weekend!

So long as you can hear one another moan & groan, you know the other is o.k.! ha ha Enjoy a nice, hot bath and sleep well tonight.

We missed you at the craft fair today. David and his wife went we both had a fair day and it was worth our while. It was his first time. I don't think it will be his last. I had a snow man today and he could not survive the heat. Oh well

I founds you Fall weather ! It;s here, right between Corky's house and mine :)

I sound like that often but the reason I ache is usually a very good one so it makes me smile even so.

Steak sound wonderful, I think I'll add them to the list next time we go to market :)

And we're blessed to have you !

I so totally agree about getting old! Everything takes me a bit longer, a lot more sighs, groans and moans...but, like you, I am so thankful that I am still able! I so enjoy browsing through your blog!

Sounds like me and Old Man ; )
My body is now remembering every fall I ever had and paying me back for all of them.
Enjoy your time with W and have a good weekend. (((Peggy)))

We had warm temps here the last few days, also.
I like it. If it is under 70 degrees I am cold.
I agree with you about being blessed to get up and get things done. We sure have a lot of get up and go left here. Which is good, there is a lot of things needing to get done.lol..
Have a great weekend.

Enjoy having that man around as much as you can. Yesterday I had to let go of mine. He is a "resident" of CA for who knows how long.

It was a bit chilly today- thank goodness. Still had to put my hair up off my back tho. Cold weather, come baaaack! lol

Mornin Peggy and William!

William, when you retire, how long do you think Peggy will let you live?

Milton hides in the basement sometimes. Can't imagine why?

It was in the mid 20's this morning so I am sure you have cooler weather comming your way from here.

The trees are bare here already.
Fall went fast!

Yes, I always enjoy my visit. You are one of my favorite places to come too. I have wondered how you two and mostly you most of the time keep up with all that you do for all of your family of animals. I can really really understand those aches and pains..We have them all of the time here. We wonder what the next day is going to bring to us..smile!! Keep laughing it helps so much!!
