I received the bookworm award. Thanks Miss Linda! There are some rules that accompany this award, and here they are: I must pass this award on to five blogging friends, who are asked to open the closest book to them (not their favorite or most intellectual book, but the book closest to them at the moment) to page 56. Write out the 5th sentence, as well as two to five sentences following that. Well I am not sure who has or has not received this award already so if you haven't and want it consider it yours! Let me know so I can check it out. Now here is the book closest to me: Simple Abundance,

A Day book of Comfort and Joy by Sarah Ban Breathnach. Its what I am reading as my daily devotional each morning along with my daily scripture.

page 56, 5th sentence:

Now that I have your attention, let me tell you about the rest of the year.

the next 2 sentences:

Each day from now on we're going to use the daily grist of our real lives as a cause for celebration. That's right, celebration.

Thanks for the award Miss Linda! Now I am off to finish up a batch of soap and get some things done outside. Will be back to post later. Have a great one!

Peggy, you did very well with your book award. I may need to look around for that book. It sounds interesting. I loved the pictures of your goats on the Christmas card. Believe it or not, I was telling a couple of friends about your blog yesterday, and your goats wearing reindeer antlers. We just couldn't imagine how you manage to get the goats to do that. We concluded that you must bribe them with a lot of cookies. Of course, we're no experts. The closest I've ever gotten to a goat was seeing one at the petting zoo. I just LOVE reading all about the things you do around your farm. I hope you are having a productive day!

She writes neat things. Is that from the book that she write a daily message for each day? I am having a short term memory moment here. Or maybe, its my senior moment turned into an hours.

Hugs,
Connie
