Weekend Over Already?

Geezzz it seems like it just got here and now its over. Friday was spent working outside most of the day. Phil and Jonathan stopped by on their way back to New York. They had a nice time at Disney but made me feel good when they said they enjoyed Hidden Haven the best. We had a nice but short visit before they had to hit the road. Saturday we woke up to rain. Hurried to get outside chores done before heading off to flea market and thriftstores. We even stopped at some garage sales along the way. William bought me a couple of cabinets for my soap building so I spent all afternoon cleaning everything out. William put the cabinets in and I sorted, rearranged, threw away and now have a nice clean soap shop. Will take photos tomorrow. Today after morning chores we spent the morning cleaning the pens and just spending time with the goats. They came around a few at a time for scratching and petting until I got the cookie bag out. They all came on the run when they heard the bag open. I wrapped some small packages for stocking stuffers. Our family weekend Christmas get together is the first weekend in December so we have lots to do to get ready. I am also going to do the stocking swap again this year. Will post all the information tomorrow. Right now I am going to sit by the fire, drink my hot chocolate and enjoy the last bit of my weekend. Hope your week is filled with blessings!

I can't wait to see your soap making room. I love garage sales and thrift stores. Just never know what you'll find. I bet the animals were cute running for the cookies. Funny how they know the sound of the bag! My cats are the same way. Hope you are enjoying a warm fire and a mug of chocolate and that the week ahead will be a good one.

Hello, Peggy! I found your wonderful site through sweet Mildred at Nalley Valley. I just love the pictures of all your goats, chickens, turkeys (how beautiful they are) and the other members of your menagerie! I visited your Etsy shop and just may have to buy some of your wonderful soaps. Have a blessed week!

I love your blog! I also love finding blogs about people who farm, or raise thier own animals for fun and profit.

This is a good read, and I wish you well on your adventures.

Thanks again for the visits! Now, visiting your blog has a whole different meaning - I feel like I am coming over for a visit in person, having met all the critters.

Hey Peggy,
The weekend was too short and busy as usual around here also.
Rain..we still didn't get any of that stuff. I am beginning to wonder what it looked like.
The cabinets sound really nice and useful. Can't wait to see them.
