ViVi is in Jail
For the past several months ViVi has decided to become a escape artist. She would jump over a 5 foot fence without even touching it. She would go through the electric fence without batting an eye. When we built the new chicken pens we made a extra pen with chickenwire on the outside and goat fence on the inside. This is now ViVi's new home and she ain't happy! She has tried all day to get out without success. ViVi has even got the bright idea to stand by the gate and wait for someone to open it so she can try to knock them down and make a break for it. Good thing I figured out what she was going to do and was ready for her. Besides being in jail she is pregnant so her hormones are crazy making her a very unhappy, mad goat! Hopefully after she kids she will go back to her sweet loving self that is again happy in her pen. At least she can enjoy the warm sunshine and beautiful flowers from her jail cell

Maybe she'll get time off for good behavior?
Poor ViVi. At least she has pretty weather and jonquils to enjoy. She sure is determined to break outta there huh?
Poor Vivi... She looks like such an innocent girl!!! Are you sure she's being THAT bad???? Where does she go when she breaks out?????
Well, like you said, maybe it's her hormones!!!! Hopefully, she'll settle down when she has her babies!!!!
Have a great day--and tell Vivi that I'll bring her a big steak if she's good.
Hugs,
Betsy
Free ViVi!!! Free ViVi!!! Just kidding....felt like being on the goat's side just for today. : )
Jami
Aw, poor Vivi. Captive at a lovely place, fed well, and treated beautifully. I wouldn't complain too much if I were her! Flowers already?!!!!
ViVi are you crazy? If I was at HiddenHaven, that's the last place I'd want to bust out of. Girl, you got it made there. I've heard a lot of goats do't have it so good at places. And some people EAT goats! Take care,
Clara at BooneDocksWilcox
She looks determined.
Don't worry Vivi I have a get out of jail free card you can have! LoL
Peggy that is too funny about her being smart enough to stand at the gate, you let her know she is going to slip past someone just keep waiting it's only a matter of time! hahahaha
Glad to hear from you today!! I have been not much in the visiting dept lately and i do have to apologize. i love coming here as always..so sorry for ViVI!! Hope she stays where she belongs. I love the picture of Diva in the green..Cute..
Us females sure know how she is feeling. Maybe it will all calm down soon.
Poor ViVi - hmmm... I wondered why Ditto (the Princess' pony) was trying to put a file in a flake of hay! We'll have to watch out!
Poor ViVi, not only pregnant but in jail too. She does look a little down in the ears.
Tuesday Tidings from Roberta An
those flowers are throwing me into 'fits'... I NEED SPRING!!!
What a little bugger she is - kids will change her for sure!!!
Poor Vivi. I know you are mistreating her Peggy!!!! lol.
Vivi is a fiesty little girl.
I had fun picturing you in your rocking chair in front of the fire.
Tehe. Poor Viv. I can see the spark in her eye thinking she can get outta there! ha. No dafs here yet! Got cold again! Whaaaaa?
That totally makes me smile! Loved the picture with call for a file. And I can not tell you how much I love to go to you site and see the shamrock adorned goat staring at me. That picture always puts me in a good mood!
She's a pretty girl though!
She's an escape artist. I wonder if she'll pass it on to her younguns?
Poor Vivi, that's so sad having to keep her penned like that!
I am so ready for spring. It's snowing today and is supposed to snow all week so I'm not getting my hopes up yet. Trouble is, with spring, come the blackflies!! We just can't win!!
As I sit here watching the snow fall it is hard to imagine Spring is just around the corner. We are expecting a foot of snow in the next couple of days.
For your strong willed goat you should be playing the tune "Born Free." I wonder if she will ever learn to like her "Guantanamo" home.
Poor Vivi....all those hormones raging!!
Our first two goats, Abby and Matilda, were sisters. Abby was a lion snack one night and the next morning, Matilda went ballistic! She is a rather chunky goat and she wanted her sister! In ONE hop, was on top of the four foot fence POST with all fours, screaming and then hopping down and just going nuts. She did this three times in two days!! Finally I set a roll of barbed wire on top of the post and she gave up trying to get out. Since she thought is was my doing that Abby was gone, she has never liked me much..unless I got food in hand, of course.
She looks totally determined to me! LOL..maybe she is really just after cookies in the kitchen?
I would not have the patience to raise goats. They sound an awful lot like my kids. (pun intended) LOl
Did she get the cake I baked for her yet?? hehe Awwww poor Vivi, she just doesn't realize that she's "doing time" for her own protection.
Wow, you have Spring flowers growing! Mine are still buried under a few feet of snow! Sigh. We've been having snowstorms the last couple of days and today the wind is really wild so it makes it very hard to see anything out there!! Spring can't come soon enough for me. Love ya sis. xoxo
And one and escape artist, always good at it! I love her spots. :)
She is a gorgeous goat! I love the new St. Patrick's Day picture at the top of your blog. Too cute!
