Welcome to my back porch. Come on in and sit a spell. I finally finished the porch (at least for now) in what I wanted to be more prim but turned out more country farmhouse. That's okay though cause I love it and look forward to lots of early morning and late evenings sitting, drinking tea, and watching the birds. The best part is I didn't spend a penny!
When you walk into the screened porch you will find plenty of places to sit and relax. The fruit and veggies sitting around are from my friends produce stand.
My daughter Melody gave me this birdhouse chair a few years ago. I just love it!
This rocker belonged to Ms. Fran's momma. I keep it by the woodstove in the winter but come warm weather its on the back porch.
These signs and wreaths are hanging beside the back door above the bench. I have a old nail keg there to hold umbrella's, etc.

Looks like a comfy place to visit and sit a spell on those rocking chairs drinking a tall glass of iced tea. Helen
I love your porch and it is so comfy looking. Love the old chairs too. Have a good day and enjoy your coffee on the porch.
Blogger wasn't letting me comment, grrr.
I love it! Wonderful! I wish I could sit down with you and chat and chat and chat.

My favorite part of your back porch is the white curtains. Just puts a feminine touch on it. So pretty. And yes, I AM green with envy! :)
I love, love, love your porch!! My hubby will tell you that I have always wanted a covered porch but can't have one for various reasons the biggest one being money.
I long to sit outside undercover, through a storm.
I love your porch...
Peggy your porch certainly looks inviting. I can almost picture Ms Fran sitting in that chair. You did a fantastic job of decorating the porch.
The stove is so neat. That was a great idea the guy had to put it on a grill stand. I'm sure it will get lots of use this summer.
Beautiful porch! It must be wonderful to sit on.
Oh my gosh I love it! the first pic of door is so nice. You did a wonderful job. And thank you for being okay to be my mom and making my backyard a home too! :o)

It is so wonderful to see all the goings on :) a very similar porch is what I've been working on since last year but I fear the creatures are taking over.
