Nice Weekend

I didn't get everything done on my to do list before the party but no one seemed to notice. My friend Sherri along with family and friends celebrated her grandson's 3rd birthday at Hidden Haven. There was around 24 counting kids and adults but there was a ton of food so no one left hungry!

There was plenty of bunny holding going on. Thank goodness we had plenty to go around.
Henny Penny hatched out a chick a few hours before the party. We had to limit it being handled but no one seemed to mind that at all.
Everyone put on their shhhhhh! be very quiet mode so they could peek at baby blue birds.
There was all kinds of games going on, swinging on the tire swing, riding in the wagon, talking, eating, birthday cake, and lots of trips to the animal pens. I think the birthday boy and his friends and cousins had a good time. I know I sure slept good last night!

Thank you so much Granny J for the hen and chicks. I will post a picture of them tomorrow. I am just too hot and tired to go take one right now and the one I took yesterday didn't turn out. They really look good the way I planted them. I borrowed the idea off one of your friends blogs. And Cathe the package arrived! I am so excited to start some of the sewing projects but I promised myself to finish the ones I have already started first. I think there are going to be some nice long happy evenings in the backporch rocker sewing away and listening to the birds. I am so blessed to have such wonderful sweet friends!

What a neat place for kids to have a party.... You could do that constantly --and charge, making tons of money... I think it's neat for kids to see all of the baby bunnies and chicks --and other farm animals. NEAT!!!!

I'm sure that your friend Sherri appreciated your having the party for her grandson.. Everything looked perfect.

Now---get some rest, Peggy!!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
