Just For You Megan

My daughter Megan is bored. They have snow and ice which makes them stuck at home and she wants me to post so she has something to read. I gave her a ton of magazines when she was here so you would think she would have them to keep her busy. Anyway Megan since you won't share your snow I will still be nice and share my weekend.
Lisa and her sons; Will and Harvey spent the weekend with us. We had a small Christmas celebration and just enjoyed  having them here. Harvey just turned 3 and  kept us all entertained. Lisa took us all out for breakfast this morning which was really nice We seemed to stay busy doing things or just chatting that I didn't take a single picture while they were here. Harvey will be coming back to stay with us for 2 weeks after Christmas so am sure I will get lots of photos then. I am finally getting over my cold but William is getting it. He has gone to Pinehurst to help a friend that has no water. The pipes froze and then the pump messed up. William fixed the pump and is now helping him put it back on. Hopefully he will have water tonight. They are like us and have lots of animals to care for.
The grands are all excited that there is no school tomorrow since they live in the mountains and are getting snow. Gabby posted on facebook to let us know school was canceled. She took a bunny home from here and already has it spoiled. She is dressing  Snowball up for Christmas. I think that bunny is very happy with its new home.
Megan, there isn't really alot to write about but I promise a nice post tomorrow with pics. The animals and I have a little Christmas post all planned out. So go drink some hot chocolate and watch it snow for me. Just think you get the morning off work and can stay up late to watch it snow. If you get the chance hit Q with a snowball and tell him its from me.  Hope everyone has a warm and blessed evening!

Hi Peggy, We are snowed in over here on the plateau... It has snowed all day/night--and will tomorrow. Don't know how many inches but there's ALOT.

And the wind is fierce---makes it feel like a blizzard. Our wind chill tonight is minus 5.... GADS!!!!!

I know kids all over TN and the NC mountains are thrilled not to have school tomorrow.

Stay WARM and take care of those animals. I am feeding the birds like crazy here.
Hugs
Betsy

We're in the middle of a severe snowstorm, been 2 days straight with snow and high winds. Couldn't even open the door this morning, the snow had drifted right up to it so had to call a neighbour to come dig me out! lol I'll try my very best to send some your way sis:-)

Glad to hear you had such a lovely weekend with your friends. Sometimes not taking pictures is just a sign of having too much fun to think of it:-)

Love ya sis. xoxo

Let me add my voice to your Canadian admirers, Amelia and Pea, It is cold windy and snowing.
I know you would like it. It will be beautiful when the wind dies down and the sun comes out.

I like to watch the snowy weather.
You daughter needs to learn to embrace the snow and cold and enjoy it with the right activities and wearing the right clothes.

The snow has stopped but the wind continues to blow it about. The snow plow has been by twice and will have to come again to plow the drifts off the road.
