We got rain!!!! We also have a "cold" front which has dropped the 100's down to the 80's. The animals and I are loving every minute.
GrannyJ shared some of her hens and chicks with me. Every morning when I visit her blog I also love to read some of her favorite blog neighbors. A couple of them had the neatest idea on flower pots so I borrowed the idea and used them for the hen and chicks. Thank you GrannyJ!

I'm glad you got a break in the weather. I'm sure it's better for the critters.

Well look at that, what a neat idea to make these tipsy pots and plant hens & chicks in them!! I have them growing in my faerie garden and when I looked at them yesterday I noticed they had a whole bunch of new chicks-) Love ya sis. xoxo
Neat pots!! How do you do that?
It was 8 degrees here this morning and I love it but I think I'm the only one. All sorts of things were cancelled because of the cold weather and the stupid thing is that come Sunday, it's going to be 29 with a humidex of 35!!!

We still haven't gotten ANY rain... We are very dry---but we are at least COOLER.

I love my hens and chicks they are amzing to fill in places under trees where I don't get enough sun to grow flowers and need to keep the weeds down

I love the picture of your homestead in the heading. It all looks so cool and welcoming in amongst the trees.
