Over at Lady of Blessings, Donna is starting a show your organization post. Today its how you do your bills. Storing and paying. Well she has a very neat photo of her way. I will not show a photo of mine right now cause it is a MESS! Its the end of the month so all the bills are piled on my desk along with my ledger where I keep records of check # and payment, etc. I also have Williams truck ledger and all his receipts and bills in a pile. During the month I have a basket where I put all bills that need to be paid. It sits on the desk. When I sit down and pay them and put it in the ledger, then I file them in the file cabinet next to the desk. I keep both ledgers along with one for my soap business and animal supplies on the desk. I have the accordion folder like Donna that I keep receipts in from Williams trucking business. I take them out at the end of the year and put with tax paperwork. I am going to start keeping them in envelopes like Donna... I never thought of that! I have a long way to go to have the business side of our lives organized but I am slowly getting there.... thanks to Donna. How do you organize your bill paying?
