This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

Bathroom
As of this evening the bathroom has a toilet, shower, floor, ceiling, paneling, wallpaper, border and door. There is still baseboards, trim, chair railing and sink to go. This one week project is going on 4 weeks. I can only imagine how long it will take to redo the kitchen. Hopefully I can take photos tomorrow evening of a finished bathroom. If not please forward all emails to the padded room at the mental hospital!

Now it is not that bad...a padded room at the Mental Hospital!! come on Peggy!!
Yes, I was thinking about you when my hubby and I traveled through No. carolina on our way to Va. wondering where does Peggy live around here? I am not good driving where I have never been before but I would love meeting you too of course. Your farm would be fun to come and visit...Miss Diva would be great to see. I have never been a fan of chickens though (childhood memories)!! Sandy
hehe. The hub and I did a tiny bath in our first home. After the first day, I kicked him off the project and finished it myself. Unforutnately, about 3 months later, the sub floor gave in and we had to do the whole thing over again. I hired someone the next time 'round. ha! I feel your pain!! xoxo
Good things take time. The best things take longer. Your bathroom promises to be the best!
I am looking forward to seeing pictures of your bathroom. I am sure it will be worth the wait!!
