This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. Thankful Thursday
Today I am thankful for the military. I have the freedom of sleeping in my nice warm bed, going wherever I please, read what I want, watch what programs I want. I can go to whatever church I please or not. I have the freedom to enjoy all these things because soldiers will leave their nice warm beds, their families, to make sure I keep my freedom. While I am sitting down to a nice Thanksgiving dinner there will soldiers away from home fighting for my freedom. While I am sitting around the Christmas tree with my family there will be soldiers giving up that pleasure just to give me that freedom. So today I say thank you to every military person, active or vet. I say thank you to each member of their family. Today I am thankful we have soldiers ready to put their family lives on hold so America can stay the land of the free.

Yes, we should always remember them for all they do for us.
PS I'm so glad you liked your article! It was so you and I thought you might get some ideas -- not that you need to change a thing. I'm almost ready to get some more soaps, almost out here!! I hear from a little birdy you have some new scents!! Yumm!! xoxo
