Moved Jackie O and Mrs Mighty Chicken to Bud's summer home so they can recoup without any other chickens or chicks bothering them. My neighbor came down and we caught the guineas, clipped their wings and put them in with Diva and Nitro. They are letting it be known they are unhappy with the move. They have been so mean to the chickens that I had to do something. In the spring I will let them have free range of the property but for now they have to stay penned. Tonight when the teens go to roost I will take the bigger ones and put them in with the big chickens. Thanks for the ideal Caroline! Hopefully when all the chickens wake up in the morning they will be busy eating breakfast they won't notice the teens too much. I checked on the baby bunnies and there are 6 babies! Flower wasn't happy I picked up one so I hurried and snapped a photo and put it back. I felt around and there are 6 babies. They all felt nice and warm and Flower was checking them over when I left to make sure I didn't take or hurt one. She is being a super mom.Thought for the day:

Omigosh, I'd never seen a newborn bunny before...how awesome to finally see one! Looks like a little mouse! lol I'm so glad that Flower is being such a good mommy! Will you be keeping all the rabbits? Hugs xox
I've never seen a newborn bunny either...so teeny. Thank you for sharing!
I grew up on a farm and have seen so many new born bunnies and used to try to save them when the tractor would hit the mommy. I tried to fed them from a dropper but would always lose them. I always hated to see them die. Poor little things. I am so glad that all is well with these little ones. Sandy
Oh, so cute!
Funny how they don't look like rabbits when they are that little....they look like little hamster/mice/kitten hybrids or something.
So sweet!
Oh, and we used to have guineas when I was very young. How I hated those obnoxious birds! They were mean, loud, tasted terrible and their eggs were nasty. I never understood why we had them. Maybe mom wanted them to eat bugs or something.
Peggy hello! now with 8 grandchildren I can very much see the value in getting them over to your lovely homestead for a "birds & bees" lesson :o)mother nature teaches us beautifully wouldn't you say.
As always I enjoy very much your blog.
I am on holidays now so will enjoy my daily visits to your part of the world.

you know what Peggy, reading your blog is like reading All Creatures Great and Small. I can't wait to see the baby bunnies when you can take more photos.

Such a sweet baby. Can't wait till they get their fur!!
Take care,
Connie
I forgot how tiny they are. It's been years since I have raised bunnies. WEll...we have two rabbits now, but when I was about 6 we had rabbits and we saw the "babies" all the time.
Aw. How special to hold one in your hand. Thank you for sharing!! Awwwwww.
