Woody was a little sneak and took a picture of me pitching old hay and poo in the wheelbarrow. Isn't Diva getting big?! After doing the chores we all headed to the mall. The grands think I live in the greatest place. They think its "sweet" to live in the country yet have a mall 15 minutes away and 3 walmarts and McDonald's close by. They like farm life close to shopping and video game stores. After a few hours in the mall and late lunch at McDonald's we came home where they had to have a silly string fight before feeding the animals. Grandma had to be the grownup and get them to clean up the mess.
This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

Last Day at Grandma's
After cleaning up the mess and feeding they had to try out their new games and watch a scary movie before dark. They told me they don't like scary movies after dark. :)

Those poor kids are going to be so bored without you and the farm.

Have a good day.

You've certainly given them a week to remember...when they're our age they will maybe have a blog and write their memories of being at grandma's farm:-) I think grandma will be missing those children too!! xoxo
The will sure miss you and the farm!!
glad you had a wonderful week with the grandkids.
Can I come and stay with you? It does look like a lot of fun, but lordy how you do it I don't know... Ms. Diva is getting huge... when is she due....? Love the pictures.....
Looks like you are still having a great time, it makes me long for a visit from my grandkids!
hehe, those chicks remind me of I Love Lucy when she decided to go into the chick biz. Cute!
I am glad they got to come see you too! I am Julie's teacher, and she brought me some of her beautiful soap. I know she had a great time, and she has talked about all of the things she did all day! We are glad she's back with us though!
