Not alot going on here. William made it home at midnight last night bringing the storm with him. Lots of rain, wind, lighting and thunder. We did morning chores in the rain and after finding out we needed to go to Tractor Supply for chicken and goat feed we decided to go to Waffle House for breakfast. When we came home William read the paper while I worked on his new laptop. Moved some things around, deleted some things and set up his firewall and virus protection. He has Windows Vista and after working with it for a hour or so I decided I am very happy with my Windows XP. I fixed a late lunch or early supper, not sure which but it was good and we both ate too much. William and I played with Nitro this afternoon and he wore us both out. The rain has come back and the wind is terrible! Its suppose to be even more windy tomorrow. All in all it has been a quiet day. I did get my blog critiqued. Scaring him to death with my music and his not liking my blog colors was about it. Think I will set down with the newspaper and relax. Tomorrow I hope to get back into routine and get somethings done. I hate it when I can't see I have accomplished anything with all the hours I have had during the day. Hope your weekend was fantastic!

I bet you will be getting the horrible wind that we have had all day. It has been just awful!! It sounds like it has finally settled down here and I am glad because I was wondering about our tall tall pine trees. They have sometimes come tumbling down and on our house. I have heard that VISTA is not a great program. We are happier with our XP...Sandy

I am glad your William blew in just ahead of the foul weather. I trust all your hatches and hutches are fastened down so you can be snug and comfortable with each other and not trying to repair damage in the middle of a storm.

I forgot! Happy Patriot's Day. Be thankful you are not lining up in running the Boston Marathon this morning. :)))) ( This is a little trivia that lives with me from my years of living in Boston.)

I'll paint you a rainbow as a gift from me,

Then hang it from heaven for the whole world to see.

On a canvas of love I'll cover your fears,

With a soft brush I'll dry all your tears.

I'll paint you a rainbow with feelings so deep,

My stroke will be gentle, my touch you may keep.

On a palette of words I will tenderly blend,

Colorful thoughts with bright verses to send.

I'll paint you a rainbow in reds, blues and gold,

Stretched like loving arms ready to enfold.

And deep in the center of the most vibrant hue,

I'll etch from memory the essence of you.

I'll paint you a rainbow, a bridge to my heart,

So loneliness and pain can begin to depart.

Just look up at the sky when life hits a bend,

I painted a rainbow for YOU.

I am sure the work will be there for you tomorrow, unless of course ms*Diva decides to help you out :)
