I have been letting the ducks, chickens and geese out during the day since the drought has dried up my gardens. I noticed they were getting into the cats feeder so I sat it up on the patio table. Well now the chickens think I have sat the table for them and they are feasting on cat food! Before I got the camera the chairs around the table had chickens waiting their turn at the feeder. When I went to get the camera most of the chickens thought I was going to the chicken pen to feed them and started running that way. Doesn't matter how much you feed the little buggers they never get full! The cats are mad at me. They can't lay around their feeder waiting till they are hungry to get up and eat because the chickens are cleaning it out. Will have to figure something out before letting the chickens out in the morning or the cats may attack me! Wonder if the chickens will meow instead of cluck or crow now? :)

it sounds like a funny farm!
I don't know what it is with chickens, they are always hungry, or seem to be.. it is like they are going to miss out.. mine are the same.. they run every which way when I feed them, as i scatter the food..they run here and there.. quite funny to watch.
next thing we will see is ms*diva sitting up watching television with you :)

Did the chicken have a junk food attack and decided to eat at the local "McCats".
