Hello, My Name Is...

Peggy and I am a tea addict. I am such a addict that when I get a really special tea that I love I will be frugal to make it last. Rosa sent me some wonderful teas last year with 2 beautiful tea settings. One of the teas open up into these beautiful blossoms. I am very careful to use these sparingly and I am selfish and don't share them. They are perfect for a nice afternoon cup of tea while sitting on the back porch watching the animals. I don't drink coffee so I have special teas I like to drink in the morning to give me that caffeine boost to get going. I have special flavored teas I enjoy drinking in the evening by a nice warm fire. I have special teas blended just for me by my friend Juli. You should really check out her teas as they are fantastic! I love ice tea all year but when fall arrives I love my cups of hot tea. When it gets cool enough to have a fire in the stove I keep the kettle simmering so I can have a hot cup anytime of day.
I have several green teas I like. We had a Japanese exchange student that got me hooked on green tea and I was drinking them years before they became popular. And then there is my Chai Latte. If you haven't tried this tea you really should. It is very addicting! Just don't drink it in the evening or you will be awake all night! So yes I have a addiction but please don't plan a intervention for me. I refuse to give up my tea cup!!

LOL - I'm a coffee person, but I do love a good cup of tea. I have three or four special teas that I horde, but certainly not as many as you! Don't stay up all night, LOL!

I love the bluegrass music playing, it reminds me of my mom. I think I will go but the chai latte tomorrow. I'm not a coffee drinker either. I do love iced tea. I will check it out, it's getting cooler and I need another wrm drink option besides hot chocolate.

And I though I was addicted to tea! hehe

Everyone I know drinks coffee and I just can't drink more than one cup or I end up with terrible tummy cramps.

But I drink tea all day long, all year long.

You've got some beautiful and unique blends of tea.
Thank you for sharing your love of tea.

Oh and I really love your ne template, too :)

I love chai tea ( my sister-in-law from India got us hooked on that ), I've had chai latte too! I love hot drinks especially in the fall and winter too Peggy but I love coffee though but I love trying different kinds of tea too, especially herbal teas and green teas with either Pomagranate or Peach or Mango and we have gotten hooked on Elderberry tea which help when you are catching a cold!

An American tea drinker. . .how rare. Was this a hill people preference? My parents were tea drinkers and drank it by the pot full. Before I was four they had taught be how to brew a pot of tea for them To this day I must scald the pot before pouring in the boiling hot water. I also must always drink tea in a cup with a saucer and not a mug.

A pet peeve of Canadians traveling in the US is to get a tea bag in a cup of hot water for a cup of tea in a restaurant.

Around here you can tell all the old time loggers for they are tea drinkers and not cofee addicts. In the logging camps there was always a kettle of tea on the wood stove. I think they just kept adding tea and water all winter. It must have been like mud! Or course on the trail tea was easy to make over a small fire to warm the body and soul in the Winter cold. (Logging was a Winter activity in those days.) Summer was for farming and impregnating the wife to add to the family which often grew to 12 to 20 children.

Now it's working! Thats nice that your husband is taking your grandson on his little trip. My hubby doesn't want to do anything when he comes home, just sit and relax.
