When we first got Tinker she sat in my lap on the way home and I carried her to the pen in my arms.
She was a cute little thing weighing around 15 lbs.
In just a couple of months she has grown! Tinker now weighs 45lbs! She is still in the puppy stage and gets into everything. She is almost as tall as Buttons the goat. She still herds the goats into their stall for reasons known only to her. She will not allow the geese or ducks anywhere near the goats. She loves her squeaky toys and will play with them for hours much to our neighbors dismay. She is slowly becoming mature and responsible. Very slowly but she is getting there. Hopefully the goats and I can survive till then.

Tinker is going to be a beautiful dog. Is she part collie/border collie? Trixie is part border collie and tries to herd everything, even the kittens from across the street.
Ahh, bless her heart!! She is such a pretty and loveable little dog, maybe not so little but very loveable. Just the way she is looking at William just melts my heart.
She's adorable. How big will she be?
Tinker is a good example of a teenager... They drive you crazy --and they 'think' they are all grown up, when they are NOT... Like all teens, Tinker will outgrow this stage --and settle down to be the best adult (guard dog) in the world.... ha ha
Great post, Peggy.

you know an LGD is not completely "finished" till about 2 years old. Tinker sounds like she's doing GREAT!
Beautiful dog! What breed of dog is she? Love her name what made you think on naming her Tinker?
She is so pretty! Definitely a "teenager"!
Tinkerbell sounds like she's doing a wonderful job , she'll be an excellent goat herder by the time she matures.
Peggy , if you have time today I've got a question about the buck on my last blogpost , would love to know what you think about his behavior.
