Catching Up

It has been a very busy time around here. Ms. Fran came home from the rehab day before yesterday. Her daughter and granddaughter stay with her during the day and I go over at 8pm. I bathe her and put her to bed and stay with her till 7AM the next morning. Fran is still getting cards and says bless everyone of your hearts. I read them to her each night and will put them in her scrapbook when I get a chance. We are trying to get the house decorated and ready for our big family Christmas weekend the 14th. The church was short one for handbells so I got volunteered. I cannot read music but hopefully can keep from messing up the Christmas program. We now have half a kitchen floor! Hopefully it will get finished tomorrow and then there are just some small things left to do. Today is my stepson's birthday so Happy Birthday OLD man! LOL I am late posting photos of the cookie cutter I received in a cookie cutter swap. I love it and also got a Christmas towel that I have hung on a door of my hoosier cabinet.I also got my stocking from one of my swap partners. Each item was beautifully wrapped but I couldn't wait to open them and didn't take any before photos. There was also a stuffed raindeer but I had to put it up high so the baby kitty would leave it alone. She thinks its her play toy.
I will try to post some photos of the trees and decorations later. Have a great week!

Carmen got my name in Pea's Halloween swap. I received my package today. Thanks Carmen!

I will probably be a witch for a while. We have started the kitchen redo today. I am staying right with the handyman every step of the way so he will get this done. No dragging around on this and it will get done fast! Yeah, I know after reading Rosa's posts on her kitchen redo I am entering a nightmare.

Frosty Dan and Brown Robyn are growing up. They are no longer little boys. Dan is starting to get dark on his chest and looking more and more like his daddy, Nitro.
Brown Robyn's spots are coming out more and more. He is looking alot like his mommy, Diva.

I have talked William into letting me keep Brown Robyn but will be listing Frosty Dan for sale. We just can't keep 3 bucks and we really want to keep Nitro for Diva and Brown Robyn for Sammi.

Flower had 6 baby bunnies. They are all solid black or solid gray. Dotty had 4 babies and they are all spotted like her. One day I hope to have one that looks like the daddy, Thumper.

Time to build a fire and settle in for the evening. Hope you had a blessed day!

Scavenger Hunt Package

I received my package several days ago from Dawn Marie and I love it! With the boys having surgery I got behind on posting. Thank you so much Dawn and your package is on its way!

The picture is looking from a hill by her home down on downtown Denver. I got a red jasper stone that will help with strength and energy flow (I really need that!) Also a prism in a wooden box that I think Dawn painted and decorated, beautiful flower stickers, and a dragonfly windchime that I can't wait to hang on my porch as soon as its finished! Thanks peppylady for getting this together and letting me be a part.
